Iotam Lerer is a PhD candidate at the School of International Studies of the University of Trento, where he is working on the relationship between arms trade, ius ad bellum and the principle of non-intervention. His research interests also include transitional justice and international security. Prior to arriving in Trento he worked as an international lawyer and volunteered with the Red Cross. He holds a combined BA and MA in Law (University of Bologna) and an MA in International Peace and Security (King’s College London). Iotam speaks Italian, Hebrew, English, Spanish and Bulgarian. In his free time he enjoys playing classical music and travelling around the world.
