Filomena Medea Tulli is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the School of International Studies of the University of Trento. She holds a PhD in International Law jointly supervised (cotutelle de thèse) by the University of Trento and the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich. Her doctoral research examined the prohibition of forced labour in international law, with a specific focus on State responsibility for its use by private actors.
Her research interests encompass international human rights law, State responsibility, and corporate due diligence. Her current work focuses on international and domestic arms trade regulation, with particular attention to national compliance with international legal frameworks and to the relationship between arms transfers and serious violations of international law.
