Alan Amadio is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento, where he is working on a research project concerning the exercise of international criminal jurisdiction over nationals of non-consenting States.

Previously, he studied law both at the University of Pisa and the Sant’Anna School for Advanced Studies. Moreover, he has gained significant practical experience, working as an intern at the Service for Legal Affairs, Diplomatic Disputes and International Agreements of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the Europe & Central Asia Office of the International Commission of Jurists.

His research interests are international criminal law and the law of jurisdiction.
